It’s time to order those CNY goodies we all love to eat give. Ok fine, sometimes we do more eating than gifting.
I have to warn you though, if you order these goodies from Wang Lai Bakery, make sure to double it as you will want to eat them yourself. I’m not exaggerating. We already finished an entire jar in one sitting. CNY munching has definitely started early in our household!

This is definitely one of the best-tasting pineapple tarts we have ever tried, if not the best. They melt in your mouth, and you can really taste the butter in the soft, crumbly pastry, which pairs so perfectly with the sweet tartness of the pineapple. It’s hard to stop at one!

Established in 1968, Wang Lai Bakery has been participating in the Chinatown Bazaar every year without fail. This brand should be familiar to almost everyone by now. The open face pineapple tarts were also really good, if not better! The balance in taste and texture between pastry and pineapple is just amazing in these tarts. My younger son grabbed the entire jar and ate through 3/4 of it before I caught him!
